Valiant (DDM008) was born in the pack known as the Drie Doring on May 5th, 2002. He was born along with a sister named Tiree (DDF009) and a brother named Arran (DDM010) to the alpha pair, Hannibal and Nikita. The three of them made it to adulthood, and became subordinate members in the pack. Valiant usually helped out with the pack by either babysitting or guarding the site. However, his sister, Tiree, constantly mated with rovers and caused trouble, getting kicked out several times.

Alpha Male[]
After producing four litters with 14 surviving pups, Hannibal died in July 2005 and left his son, Valiant, to take dominance. A few months later his mother Nikita passed away as well, so his sister Kultarr took on the responsibility as alpha female. Valiant performed his job well, though he and Kultarr could not breed, thus there were no pups that year. On March, 2006 his brother, Arran, went roving, and was killed. He lost his last litter mate when his sister Tiree left with half of the pack after a violent skirmish with Kultarr, due to her mating with a rover. This separation left the pack down to six members, Valiant and Kultarr would soon need to find a way to keep the pack large enough or they would risk losing their territory. They were relieved when in winter of 2007, a lone wolf named Osprey joined, and took over as alpha male. Valiant willingly stepped down from his rank, knowing it would be better for his sister to have an unrelated male by her side. Soon the two new alphas started producing litters and the pack began to stabilize again. Valiant remained as a subordinate until his death in August 2007 after sustaining battle wounds from.a fight with the Jackals.
